Persimmon Vinegar on Salads or in Dips

Mar 11, 2020

The persimmon vinegar is so flavorful it makes a simple salad topping or dip for bread and veggies.

Salad Dressing Ingredients:

We love this "dressing" because it takes less than a minute and brings out the flavor of the salad ingredients.

  • One pinch salt

  • One pinch black pepper

  • Olive oil and PV (persimmon vinegar) to lightly coat

Salad Dressing Directions:

  1. Sprinkle salt and pepper on the greens, toss lightly.

  2. Lightly coat greens in olive oil and then vinegar, toss lightly.

Dip Ingredients:

Same with the bread dip, it takes a minute and is tasty for dipping bread or vegetables as part of an appetizer or charcuterie plate.

Dip Directions:

  1. Pour olive oil into a small bowl.

  2. Add a tablespoon of persimmon vinegar.

  3. Add fresh or dry herbs/spices (we love dill, chives or chili flakes) and salt and pepper.

  4. Taste with vegetables or bread and add more vinegar and spice as needed.
