Have you tried our Persimmon Vinegar as part of a warm tonic? Warm tonics are good all year round, but especially during colder months and when we are in need of an immunity boost.

Persimmon Vinegar has antioxidant anti-aging properties and supports a healthy heart, liver, skin, and gut!

Recipe:

We always start with the basic elements:

    • Warm water

    • A spoonful or 1 oz of Persimmon Vinegar

    • A spoonful of honey (agave, maple syrup, or stevia)

Then depending on what we have /are in the mood for, we add any or all of the following:

    • ginger

    • turmeric

    • cinnamon

    • cloves

    • orange peel

    • whole persimmons

    • live or dried herbs, such as nettle, mint, rose geranium, oregano, lemon balm (for stress), echinacea (immunity), elderberry (immunity), acerola cherry (vitamin c) and thyme (anti-viral)

Most importantly, get creative. There is no right or wrong way. Start with the basics and add flavors you're excited about as you go along. Our friends at Honey Hi on the east side of LA even add jujubes and persimmons to theirs!
