Persimmon Vinegar on Salads or in Dips
The persimmon vinegar is so flavorful it makes a simple salad topping or dip for bread and veggies.
Salad topping
We love this "dressing" because it takes less than a minute and brings out the flavor of the salad ingredients.
You'll need:
- One pinch salt
- One pinch black pepper
- Olive oil and PV (persimmon vinegar) to lightly coat
Instructions:
Sprinkle salt and pepper on the greens, toss lightly.
Lightly coat greens in olive oil and then vinegar, toss lightly.
Dip
Same with the bread dip, it takes a minute and is tasty for dipping bread or vegetables as part of an appetizer or charcuterie plate.
You'll need:
- Olive Oil
- Persimmon Vinegar
- Fresh or dry herbs
- Salt and pepper
Instructions:
Pour olive oil into a small bowl.
Add a tablespoon of persimmon vinegar.
Add fresh or dry herbs/spices (we love dill, chives or chili flakes) and salt and pepper.
Taste with vegetables or bread and add more vinegar and spice as needed.
